Sequestering Technology-
Food grade media dissolves in water and encapsulates hardness ions to make them inert. The silicates also coat pipes and fixtures to prevent internal scaling and corrosion.  

Sediment- 
For best results install the system upto 300 ppm hardness or 600 ppm TDS.
